David Ståhlberg grew up in the little town Mariefred in Sweden, by Lake Mälaren and Gripsholm Castle. His father was a scientist and professor in analytical chemistry, his mother a passionate reader and humanist, speaking seven languages. In this intellectually challenging environment David got interested in cross-pollinating ideas from one area to another. He got curios about building bridges between intellectual positions. This attitude has stayed with him. From high school studies through to university and his first jobs, David has always moved between subjects, industries and functions. Between philosophy, arts and business. Between start-ups and multinationals. Between sales, HR, marketing and business leadership. It is his belief that only by studying an area deeply, and then contrasting it with other environments can you see it's unique colours, and only by allowing new input to an old subject can you shape true innovation.
After leadership responsibilities at both Procter & Gamble Nordic and Google Sweden, David is now back where he started, following his passion for developing organisations through honest input and external stimuli. As an advisor and speaker David is fortunate in meeting a vast number of organisations every year. It is in this constantly moving state of cross-fertilisation that David makes his most meaningful discoveries. Each experiencee deepens his understanding and adds a new dimension to his practice. And more dimensions mean more scope for insight.
